Meet Alexis a Coletta Collections Weaver

Alexis has been a Coletta Collections weaver since 2013. She is one of the kindest people that we work with, and has a very patient methodical approach to the work she does. Alexis has a particular love of weaving. Though she has worked in fused glass from time to time the repetitive motion and the peaceful sounds of the loom going back and forth match her calm and quiet personality. Alexis loves to daydream, and in the work place, this is our biggest challenge. She is a careful weaver, and will always seek out help when a mistake is made...

Getting Ready for Christmas

Our participants make this year's holiday ornament, a gingerbread house. The ornament is a fundraiser for our Be An Angel Program which provides food and gifts for families of St. Coletta students and adult participants identified as needing extra help during the holiday season. Last year we were able to raise enough money to provide support to 17 families during the holiday season.

Giving Tuesday

The time has come, Giving Tuesday is here! This year our board will match donations up to $5,000. Our primary goal is to focus on community integration and vocational skills for each of our students and adult participants. With your help we will keep on serving this overlooked population and make a real difference.
