I bought (was given?? I forget) a beautiful turquoise tote, with a cheery red handles, lining & piping that I have taken to the beach (? oh yes -- still sand inside!) and on weekend trips. It is roomy and sturdy enough to hold the necessaries for both of those expeditions and it just looks sporty and bright. I have also purchased a similar striped tote as a gift, which went over very big. If St. Coletta's were still making woven placemats, I would buy those too, as I only caught the tail end of that initiative and gave some as a gift that I wish I had kept.
